Army of Darkness? Evil Dead? Bubba Ho-tep? I could list hundred more movies... If you now think of Bruce Campbell you are right! At this point I didn't want to judge his acting abilities in general. I can only say, that every movie I saw up to know was funny and pretty entertaining! And this also applies to My Name Is Bruce. Fortunately the producers of the Fantasy Filmfest got a real copy of this flick! The guy, who stepped in front of the audience to introduce the movie, earned a lot of clap for their efforts. In this movie Bruce Campbell is playing... BRUCE CAMPBELL - a scruffy actor, who is working for at most mediocre action b-movie productions. The producers don't care for him - his dog doesn't either. But when it comes to fighting a trashy looking Asian demon Bruce is the man. At least his nerdy hardcore fans think that way...
My Name Is Bruce is a very funny movie, which parodies some of Bruce Campbell's previous flicks in a self - deprecating way. If you like that kind of movies it's a must! If you like Bruce Campbell its a duty!

I love Bruce. I've seen his movies and I also like him in Hercules and Zena. Thanks for letting me know about this movie:)
I didn't know he has this movie. I loved his cameos in the Spider-Man movies.
My Husband and I love Bruce and can't wait to see this! We are avid watchers of Burn Notice and have just recently introduced our kids to The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Bruce Campbell rocks my socks ever since the Evil Dead flicks.
Hi there,

So he is the actor behind "Army of Darkness". I'm just wondering where did he go throughout these years. This is the first time that I have heard of him since the" Army of Darkness".
Bruce is a Boom... he is doing and an awesome job i mean acting.. like Hercules. Anyhow thanks for his new movie's info.
Army of Darkness? Evil Dead? Bubba Ho-tep? That's all movie are really great. I watched "Army of Darkness?" that's give me much pleasure. Thanks for sharing this in your post with us.
Hey, let's not forget about "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." That, of course, was that "old west" television series on Fox in the early 1990s that only lasted one season.
Underrated? You'd better believe it. Great stuff and Bruce Campbell was fantastic in it.
It looks like it would give me a few chuckles but not much more than that. It appears to have a lot of stolen jokes that have been rehashed. Oh well I guess well have to wait and see.
I don´t remember this film being out in the cinema.. I´ll look it up on the net later tonight, might end up watching it next weekend. I thought the guy on the front cover was Jim Carrey at first.. he looks like ACE VENTURA, pet detective!

Bruce Campbell is great. I just watched this movie and its hilarious!
Bruce is great and I didn't know he came out with this one. I think that I'm gonna have to go check this out as I love the b-rated movies, something about them makes them a little more entertaining then those a list movies.
Like Sheila said, I am also an avid watcher of Burn Notice, and I personally can't wait to watch "My name is Bruce!"
I have always loved Bruce as an actor, I even remember watching Bruce in "Oedipus Rex" which was pretty much his first film appearance!
Till then,
Randy!
Have to admire Bruce directed this and took relentless shots at himself and the films he has made. Always have been a fan and even liked the fact Raimi was in it as well. But always have been a fan of the Raimi brothers and Bruce's work since way back when they started out as friends in college together.
Don't Roberts Me, Chief!
I have to see this. I love Bruce. And you know, he really isn't a bad actor. A lister if you ask me.
Bubba-Hotep is one my favorite comedies. Bruce is underrated for sure. Army of Darkness, classic.
Looks fantastic - I've loved Bruce Campbell since the original Evil Dead and it's great to see him make a funny tongue in cheek return!
I like the acting of Bruce and i think
My Name is Bruce is spasmodically funny, but Campbell's counterpoint of cowardice and cockiness remains irresistible.
